Transfer Service, Taxis & Bus
When arriving at Rovaniemi Airport, you can book our private transfer service through our Front Desk at hotel@arcticlighthotel.fi or add it to your reservation on our website.
Alternatively, taxis are readily available, and we recommend our trusted partner, Menevä (+358 800 02120), identifiable by its green and white markings.
Bus transportation is available from the airport: the airport bus waits outside the arrivals hall after each regular flight and stops at all city center hotels, including ours. No advance booking is needed; you can pay the driver by card or cash.
Rovaniemi's local public transport is operated by Linkkari. Buses run between key areas of the city, the airport, Santa Claus Village and city centre. You can check routes and timetables directly via Linkkari.
We recommend checking the schedules in advance.
Please note that Airport Express is on a summer break between 8 June and 9 August.

Parking at Arctic Light Hotel
We offer complimentary parking for standard - sized cars right behind the hotel. Just drive straight in from Aallonkatu 1 and head to check-in at your own pace.
If our backyard parking happens to be full, no worries. Street-side parking is available nearby (paid), or you’re welcome to use our sister hotel’s parking area just 200 meters away – also free of charge. Parking permits for that location are available at Reception.
